This year necessity will be the mother of innovation as we work towards The Autry Marketplace Online, a unique digital opportunity. We want you to know that as Marketplace Artists you are the community we want to keep at the forefront of our minds. We are currently busy listening to the needs and wants of our community. In the upcoming weeks, we expect to communicate additional details. We are all personally excited for the potential of a digital market to extend the mission and reach of the Autry’s Marketplace beyond our physical location.
We are excited to invite you to participate in the Autry’s American Indian Arts Marketplace Online. To register for either opportunity click here. Registration must be complete by October 15, 2020.
Artist Digital Directory
The Autry’s website will host a 2020 Artist Directory with links to artist websites or social media platforms. In order to participate in this opportunity, you must have at least one professional digital presence (website, Instagram or Facebook). If you have a digital presence that is not listed above, feel free to reach out to submissions@theautry.org with additional information on your platform including a hyperlink to view your material. Personal Instagram and Facebook accounts will not be considered.
Autry Marketplace Live!
On Saturday November 7, The Autry will host a one-day digital engagement through the platform, Hopin. Hopin is the first all-in-one live online events platform where attendees can learn, interact, and connect. Hopin’s live video platform makes online events more personal and engaging.
We will utilize Hopin’s Expo area to host live digital booths where eventgoers can “walk around” to visit the booths that interest them, directly engage with eventgoers, and take action. Each booth can contain live video, branded content, Twitter links, and pre-recorded videos.
Britt Campbell will reach out to schedule a run-through ensuring technical requirements are met for the day of the event.
If you have additional questions regarding Autry Marketplace Live! please email bcampbell@theautry.org
In addition to these elements, the Autry American Indian Arts Marketplace Online will feature talks with leading Native Americans in the arts, online theatre performances by Native Voices at the Autry, film screenings and digital interaction with the exhibition When I Remember I See Red: American Indian Art and Activism in California.
Nothing can replace the being together in person, we hope we are all able to gather again soon. Until that time, we look forward to seeing you in the virtual sphere!
