Join the Autry for happy hour! Enjoy live music, dancing, a full cash bar, food truck, and after-hours museum access! This event will feature live performances by Caravan 222 and Same Ol Smile.
Caravan 222 was created in 2017 at an artist residency in Valparaíso, Chile. The "Parallel Universe" residency brought together four songwriters from the Bay Area and flew them out to Chile to write an album and tour the country. This experience brought a unique sound and lasting charisma within the group, layering poetry with experimental folk, psychedelic rock, and country music.
Same Ol’ Smile is a Los Angeles based, six-piece, country-boogie band originally formed by singer Harrison Roberts and members of the bands Jesus Sons and Mystic Braves. A unique musical flavor, somewhere between the Burrito Brothers and Beefheart, Same Ol’ Smile’s sound is an open marriage of tongue-in-cheek outlaw country and bank robbin’, cut bucket blues.
