About the Event
Join us for our music in the morning program!
Twice a month, the Autry will host a children’s music workshop presented by Tim Hancock in the Family Play Space.
We will be offering one morning music class:
For kids ages 0 – 3.5
Exposure to a variety of music by singing and moving, listening to action songs to exemplify beat and pitch. Learn the fundamentals of music using Boomwhackers percussion tubes to play songs.
These morning music workshops aim to demonstrate musical fundamentals such as rhythm, harmony, pitch, tempo, and dynamics through listening, singing, dancing, and playing actual musical instruments. This hands-on experience utilizes child-friendly tools such as color-coded charts and basic percussion instruments to ensure that even toddlers can participate in a meaningful and beneficial way.

Enjoy the library after drawing an elderberry and get offline while sitting underneath the grapevine.
