Enjoy a screening of Disney/Pixar’s Coco (2017) in the Family Play Space, learn about Día de los Muertos observances from Autry staff, engage in family craft activities, and embark on an in-gallery scavenger hunt.

Film Summary 

In Disney/Pixar’s vibrant tale of family, fun, and adventure, aspiring young musician Miguel embarks on an extraordinary journey to the magical land of his ancestors. About the Speaker 

Esperanza Sanchez is an award-winning curator, public historian, and educator with a passion for bringing history to life through art and culture. Esperanza serves as Vice President for Museum Educators of Southern California (MESC), focusing on fostering museum education and community engagement. She is excited to share her love of culture and history with families through this fun and interactive arts and crafts experience inspired by the movie Coco!
