About the Event

Join the Autry for NATIONAL DAY OF THE COWBOY & COWGIRL! Enjoy extended museum hours until 7:30pm and family-friendly activities for cowfolk of all ages. 

Enjoy trick ropers on the plaza, cowboy poetry, live music on the plaza, country line dancing lessons, film screenings and docent-led tours. See exhibitions like the Cowboy Gallery, Imagined Wests, and Western Frontiers: Stories of Fact and Fiction.  

Autry members enjoy early access, free admission, and a Member Cookout.

Land Acknowledgment

The Autry Museum of the American West acknowledges the Gabrielino/Tongva peoples as the traditional land caretakers of Tovaangar (the Los Angeles basin and So. Channel Islands).
