About the Event

Get ready to hit the trails for the annual Griffith Park Run Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday, February 1, 2026!

Proceeds raised benefit the Los Angeles Parks Foundation, helping keep our city’s parks beautiful and accessible for everyone.

Open to ALL levels of ability (elite, avid, and walkers), the Griffith Park Run Half Marathon & 5K is the only half marathon that covers all the main trails of Griffith Park. It takes you by iconic landmarks along the course, including the Old Pony Ride, Merry-Go-Round, Travel Town, Zoo, and the Autry Museum, and finishes at the Crystal Springs Picnic Area. The 5K is flat, scenic, and shaded.

For the elites, it rewards the first male and female runner who reach last peak!

Registration includes a commemorative die-cast medal, premium t-shirt, and access to sampling booths. Food trucks will also be on-site.

The Griffith Park Run Half Marathon & 5K is like no other event at Griffith Park. Register now at runGPR.com!

We recognize that the Autry Museum and its campuses are located on the traditional lands of Gabrielino/Tongva peoples and we pay our respects to the Honuukvetam (Ancestors), ‘Ahiihirom (Elders) and ‘Eyoohiinkem (our relatives/relations) past, present and emerging.
