Fun Activity 

Students will search for a leaf and make leaf rubbing art work. Students will connect the leaf rubbing with native plants.

Teaching Tips for Different Learning Environments   

Whole Class In-Person AND Whole Class istance Learning: Students share their leaf rubbing with the class and students comment on it. Comments can be positive comments, a comment about leaf shape or other leaf characteristics or comments about similarities and differences in leaf rubbings. 

Tech Fun:  Use Flipgrid to share art and record story with art. Use inaturalist application for finding and observing plants.
