Beyond the Classroom
We are excited to see you again! Join us at the Autry Museum from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for Beyond the Classroom, a self-guided field trip experience for all ages. Beyond the Classroom provides opportunities for all learners to explore the American West and encourage creativity and critical thinking through the following activities:
- Hands-on carts
- Docent Interactions
- Gallery Activities

Details about the program:
School admission fee is $2.00 per person for students, teachers, and chaperones.
Entrance time is 10:00 a.m. Beyond the Classroom runs from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. for Gallery Activities and until the museum closes for Hands-on carts and Docent Interactions.
Adult chaperones are required for all student programs. A minimum of one (1) adult chaperone per every eight (8) students is required for your visit. Failure to meet the minimum adult chaperone requirement may result in the cancellation of your visit to the museum.
The All Aboard! Bus Program is back in 2022! Title 1 schools who have booked a reservation for Beyond the Classroom may apply for a $400.00 bus stipend. Stipends are limited and on a first come first served basis. Apply for an All Aboard!
