About the Event

Join us for an exciting evening of storytelling and music, as we celebrate the 100th show for Strong Words, with a powerhouse lineup reflecting their brand of storytelling, language and performance.

Since 2011, Strong Words has been a staple of the Los Angeles storytelling community. Born out of the legendary Body Builders Gym in Silver Lake, the event is half- salon/half-houseparty, bringing artists from across Los Angeles into a magical community hungry for fresh stories and music.

Produced in partnership with Strong Words, a Los Angeles based monthly community event that celebrates diversity through the creative arts.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for audiences to visit the museum. Food and beverage options available for purchase.

Land Acknowledgment

The Autry Museum of the American West acknowledges the Gabrielino/Tongva peoples as the traditional land caretakers of Tovaangar (the Los Angeles basin and So. Channel Islands). We recognize that the Autry Museum and its campuses are located on the traditional lands of Gabrielino/Tongva peoples and we pay our respects to the Honuukvetam (Ancestors), ‘Ahiihirom (Elders) and ‘Eyoohiinkem (our relatives/relations) past, present and emerging.
