About the Event

It's the Strong Words Holiday Show, making spirits bright with heartwarming and hilarious holiday tales, plus a special musical guest.

Celebrate the season with an afternoon of live storytelling, poetry, and music featuring true, personal stories from local residents, artists, and community leaders. From cherished traditions and unexpected mishaps to moments of generosity, resilience, and joy, these holiday stories capture the many voices and experiences that shape life in Los Angeles.

Produced in collaboration with the arts organization Strong Words, whose members also share their stories in the exhibition Life, Liberty, and Los Angeles, this special event brings those voices off the gallery walls and onto the stage.
