About the Event

Join the Autry for happy hour with a intimate, live story-telling and music event!

Matt Axton: Being the son of country music legend and film and television star Hoyt Axton comes with stories. His grandmother has also been inducted into several music hall of fames for her work with Elvis. Matt is not only an esteemed professional musician himself, but he has decades worth of stories about growing up around country music royalty, traveling on Willie Nelson’s famed tour bus as a kid, and carrying on the Hoyt family legacy.

Through appearances from stars of the silver screen, legacy musicians, professional bull riders, authors, artists, personalities, and more, “Tales of the West” audiences will be treated to a rich variety of Western culture that is only rivaled by the Autry Museum itself.
