Transportation Across the American West

Webinar 

Students will learn about the various methods of transportation—historical and contemporary—used across the American West by:

  • analyzing objects from the Autry museum 
  • interacting with presenters in chat boxes and polls and  
  • documenting what they learned in guided student response sheets provided by the Autry

Description 

From Native communities who travel over land and water, to the great cattle drives, to planes, trains, and automobiles, the West has been, is, and will continue to be a place of travel and movement. Students will learn about the various methods of transportation—historical and contemporary—used across the American West. Ideal for students in upper elementary grade levels.
