About the Event
Join us for an evening of exploration and discovery through the Autry’s newest exhibition, ReVOlt 1680-2180: Sirens & Sikas, by artist Virgil Ortiz. Gain a unique perspective as Autry curator Amy Scott discusses the exhibition with artist Virgil Ortiz.
Schedule of events:
6-7 p.m. | Check-in opens. Cocktail hour with light fare, beverages including wine and beer. Exhibition opens.
7:15 p.m. | Opening remarks by Stephen Aron, the Autry's Calvin and Marilyn Gross Director and President and CEO, followed by a discussion with acclaimed contemporary artist Virgil Ortiz and Amy Scott, Autry Vice President of Research and Interpretation and the Marilyn B. and Calvin B. Gross Curator of Visual Arts.
8 p.m. | Discussion ends, and tours of the exhibition begin.
9 p.m. | Event ends.
