About the Event

Join us on the opening day of The Autry’s newest exhibition, Romance Reimagined, celebrating the award winning contemporary and traditional Western artwork by nationally recognized artists in the Autry’s collection. From major works to miniatures, rediscover extraordinary artwork and gain a unique perspective from the curator and artists in a discussion celebrating the masterworks of the American West. Miniatures and small works presented in this exhibition will be auctioned at our exclusive celebration and sale on Saturday, March 8, 2025. 

Event Schedule: 

• 5:30 PM | Reception begins with light fare. Exhibition open. 

• 6:30 PM | Opening remarks by Autry Museum President & CEO, Stephen Aron, followed by a discussion, featuring contemporary artists TBA, Beau Alexander from the Maxwell Alexander Gallery and Amy Scott, The Autry’s Vice President of Research and Interpretation The Marilyn B. and Calvin B. Gross Curator of Visual Arts. 

• 7:15 PM | Discussion ends, and tours of the exhibition begin.
