Please join us for an afternoon cocktail reception and stimulating discussion at 4:30pm about the Autry’s K-12 education programs and Educators Institute highlighting how the Autry’s core galleries and exhibitions are used as a catalyst to help educators expand their curriculum.

The Autry’s Senior Director of Education, Sarah Wilson will moderate the discussion with Santa Monica High School history teacher, Bailey Field who participated in The Autry’s Educator’s Institute and Youth Docent Program with leadership remarks by The Autry’s President and CEO Stephen Aron.

About the Autry’s Educators Institute

The Autry Educator’s Institute provides robust professional development opportunities for K-12 educators. It is an investment in educators which creates a new and strategic way to make the Autry’s vast collections and expertise more accessible to educators in Southern California through expert presentations, exhibition tours, facilitated dialogue, lesson modeling, and skills-building session.

About the Speaker

Bailey Field has been a humanities 6-12 grade classroom teacher for 25. She graduated with honors from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in a self-designed concentration, “Education and the Ideal Pluralism.” She holds a Master of Teaching from San Francisco State University. Her curriculum focuses on multiple perspectives and diverse voices in literature. She worked at Facing History and Ourselves as a Program Associate and currently works in the Project-Based Learning Pathway at Santa Monica High School.
