The Autry is located in Griffith Park, northeast of downtown Los Angeles, California, across from the Los Angeles Zoo.

Accessibility

All areas of the museum, including restrooms, are wheelchair accessible. Free wheelchairs and strollers are available for check-out on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Special Notice

Smoking is prohibited at all facilities and grounds throughout Griffith Park, including the Autry's interior, grounds, and parking lot. This is critical given the danger of fire in Griffith Park. Park rangers strictly enforce the no-smoking rule, and the fine for noncompliance is very steep.

SOUTHWEST MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAN INDIAN
Arroyo Campus

Public visitation hours at the Southwest Museum campus in Mt. Washington have resumed on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The public can view the conservation work in progress as well as a small exhibition located in the upper and lower lobbies featuring highlights from the Southwest Museum of the American Indian Collection, including selected ceramics and archeological artifacts.

The ethnobotanical garden overlooking the Arroyo Seco, featuring native California plants, is also open to for the public's enjoyment every Saturday.

The Southwest Museum campus is located at 234 Museum Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90065. It is easily accessible via the Metro Gold Line, Southwest Museum stop.
