What makes a Winter Landscape? 

Grades K-5 

  • Individual Activity: Students pick one image from the “Winterscapes” Collection and share what is in the image that makes them think it’s winter.  
  • Class Activity: Educator projects images from the “Winterscapes” Collection and leads class in discussion of “What makes a Winter landscape?” Educator asks students what elements they see in each image.  
  • Extensions: Students draw a picture of a winter landscape using elements from the images OR students draw a picture of a winter landscape where you live.
