Who Do You Think You Are? follows some of today's most beloved and iconic celebrities as they embark on personal journeys of self-discovery to trace their family trees. Each week, one of them begins a quest into his or her family history. The search is one of surprising and deeply emotional encounters, resulting in one of the most compelling reality formats of recent years.

Stephen Aron is Professor of History at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Chair of Western History at the Autry Institute. A prize-winning scholar of frontier, borderland, and Western history, Aron is the author of How the West Was Lost: The Transformation of Kentucky from Daniel Boone to Henry Clay and American Confluence: The Missouri Frontier from Borderland to Border State, and coauthor of Worlds Together, Worlds Apart: A History of the World from the Beginnings of Humankind to the Present. Aron has also appeared in several episodes of Who Do You Think You Are?

The Autry program dovetails with its new series, Conversations on Convergence™, which explores contemporary issues that shape life in the American West.
