Tuesday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the school year, the museum becomes a giant classroom, as museum teachers and volunteer docents share the history of the West in engaging and entertaining ways. Topics include Native American history and culture, California gold rush history, and westward expansion. Students also get a broad overview of the museum and its exceptional collection of historical artifacts and Western art.
