About the Event

This magnificent, lyrical reflection on friendship and mortality follows grizzled lawman Pat Garrett, forced to hunt down his old friend Billy the Kid. As each man maneuvers towards an inevitable, tragic confrontation, traditional roles of hero and sidekick fade into the dust-caked landscape. The film begins with an introduction by Jared Moshé, director of The Ballad of Lefty Brown.
Directed by Sam Peckinpah | Starring James Coburn, Kris Kristofferson, and Richard Jaeckel
