About the Event

Cultural educator and tribal elder Julia Bogany (Gabrielino/Tongva) will share the ways in which the Tongva tribe—the very first people of the Los Angeles basin—interacted and continue to interact with their local environment.

The Autry offers drop-in garden activities several weekend days a month. The garden program features cultural and environmental educators from California’s diverse Native communities.
