About the Event

Join us for a conversation with retired County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, as he discusses his new memoir and his journey from a young social activist to one of the most consequential elected officials in Southern California. Fiercely independent, he combined an activist’s passion with a seasoned politician’s skill to challenge the region’s power brokers, making his memoir an engrossing guide to the history, politics and culture of Los Angeles over the last five decades.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. so audiences can visit the galleries and purchase food at Trail Grill.
Conversation followed by book signing and light reception

Produced with support from the John and LaRee Caughey Foundation
