Caughey Foundation Lectures

Made possible by support from the John and LaRee Caughey Foundation, the biennial Caughey Foundation Lectures focus on issues important to John Caughey. An esteemed scholar of Los Angeles and California history and former UCLA professor of Western American History, Caughey was a courageous defender of civil liberties and a fierce advocate for civil rights. The Caughey Foundation Lectures at the Autry honor Professor Caughey’s legacy.
