Collector/trader Phil Garaway has traveled throughout California and the Southwest to select this outstanding collection of 19th- and early 20th-century baskets. There will be baskets for everyone, from the novice buying a first small, historic basket to the veteran collector, who needs just the right olla or tray to complete a collection.
Philip Garaway has been collecting, buying, and selling Native American art for the past 35 years. When he opened his gallery in Venice, California, in 1983, he quickly established an international reputation for handling historic pieces of exceptional quality. Garaway has lectured at various institutions including the Southwest Museum, the Bowers Museum, and the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Wyoming.
Mr. Garaway will be in the Autry Store all day both Saturday and Sunday, October 23 and 24. Do not miss this unique opportunity to see this outstanding collection and to share in Philip Garaway’s knowledge and experiences.
