Join us for a wine and cheese reception to welcome artist Phranc and her new installation, the Phranc & Co. Out West General Store. Craig Krull Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of recent cardboard and paper sculpture by Phranc, which includes sculptural interpretations of items found in a traditional Western trading post, such as sacks of flour and wooden barrels, juxtaposed with items one might find at a Western curio shop, such as “authentic” badges, belts, and pillows. Phranc’s “store within the Autry Store” will be open from November 5 until December 31, 2011.
At 2:00 p.m., prior to the reception, Phranc will be on hand in the store to help kids make Christmas ornaments. Experience this artist’s inventive interpretations of everyday objects and release your child's creativity!
