[Please note: Visitors of all ages are encouraged to dress up in cowboy and cowgirl Western gear. However, guns, including replicas, will NOT be allowed on the premises.]

Main Stage Performers

• Joey Dillon, World Champion Gunslinger... see his video below! (11:00 a.m., 1:15 p.m., & 4:15 p.m.)
• Kansas Carradine and Landon Spencer, Lasso artists (11:45 a.m.)
• Musical Performance by Riders in the Sky (2:00 p.m.)
• Square Dancing with Susan Michaels, Dance Caller and music by Bees Knees (12:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.)
• Master of Ceremonies, “Tumbleweed Rob” Wolfskill of The Tumbling Tumbleweeds

Hands-on Demonstrations

 

• Roping demonstrations led by Saddle and Sirloin, Kansas Carradine and Landon Spencer (12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m.; 2:30 p.m., & 3:30 p.m.)
• Leather crafting with Biskit Saddle Arts (11:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m.)
• Chuck Wagon display provided by Manflo Ranch (11:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m.)
• Blacksmithing with Valley Forge (11:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m.)

• Panning for Gold (11:00 a.m.—3:00 p.m.)
• Story Time in the Galleries (Noon and 3:00 p.m.)
• Cowboy and Vaquero Carts in the museum (1:00—3:00 p.m.)
• Children’s craft activities on the plaza (1:30—4:00 p.m.)
• Museum Scavenger Hunt led by the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles Cadette Troop #826 ) (11:30 a.m.—3:30 p.m.)
• Curator Led Tour of the Colt Revolver in the American West exhibition (12:45 p.m.)
• Cowboy and Cowgirl Culture Tours led by Autry Docents (includes the Greg Martin Colt Gallery)
• Olde Time Western Photos by Felicia. Dress up and have your picture taken using one of our authentic western backgrounds.  Photos are available for purchase in color or sepia starting at $20.00.

• Gene Autry's original science fiction Western The Phantom Empire shown throughout the day

Food

• The Autry Cafe will sell Chuck wagon meals on the Gathering Circle, BBQ beef sandwiches, hotdogs, and chili bar in the Rotunda and Regular Menu items in the Cafe
