Every Wednesday, from June 19 through July 31, kids and families will be able to explore one of the Autry’s galleries with a museum teacher and learn more about the history of the West through hands-on activities, crafts, and games.

Westward, Ho!

Let’s travel west with the pioneers. Listen to stories, pack a wagon, and make your own journal to take along on your journey.
            
Cultures and Communities of the West
Wednesday, June 26, 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Come discover stories and artifacts from some of the many cultures and communities who settled the West. Learn how communities are like mosaics, and create your own mosaic.       

What’s Your Favorite Autry Object? Every Vote Counts!

Want to strike it rich? Learn about the rush for gold in California. Discover stories of ’49ers as you move through the museum galleries en route to the gold mines.

Shimmering Silver in the West!
Wednesday, July 31, 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Join us to explore different objects that tell the story of silver in the West, and create your own special “silver” object to take home.
