Public visitation hours at the Autry's Southwest Museum campus in Mt. Washington have resumed on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Highlights From the Southwest Museum Collection, an exhibition featuring selected ceramics and archeological artifacts, is on view in the upper- and lower-level lobbies. The ethnobotanical garden overlooking the Arroyo Seco, featuring native California plants, is also open for the public's enjoyment
The Southwest Museum is currently closed to the public on weekdays due to ongoing conservation of the collection. The conservation project is scheduled to be completed in 2013. Merchandise from the Southwest Museum Store has been relocated to the Autry Store in Griffith Park.
Braun Research Library
Access to the Braun Research Library is available to researchers by appointment. Research appointments are available Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (holidays excluded), with some limited hours available on Wednesdays. Please call 323.221.2164, ext. 255.
