    Luke Frazier

      <    >

Luke Frazier grew up hunting and fishing in the mountains of northern Utah.
These early forays into nature instilled a kinship with wildlife and a passion for the outdoors. His art mirrors the life he lives and emulates times gone past. As a child he spent hours scribbling, sketching, and sculpting wildlife. He later received formal art training at Utah State University, where he earned a BA in painting and an MA in illustration.

He has been included in the new book The Fine Art of Angling, published in October 2007, and he was the 2007 Featured Artist for the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. He has been profiled in American Artist, Art of the West, Big Sky Journal, Southwest Art, and Wildlife Art. His paintings frequently appear in Alaska, Field & Stream, Gray’s Sporting Journal, and Sporting Classics.
