Participate in Masters of the American West

Opening the first weekend in February each year, the Autry National Center’s Masters of the American West Fine Art Exhibition and Sale presents new works by more than 70 of the nation’s leading contemporary Western artists.

A few new artists are added to Masters every year by the selection committee. The deadline for application is one year in advance of the exhibition, which helps ensure that all of our Masters artists have ample time to prepare. To apply to the 2007 Masters, please send five to six transparencies (4 x 5s are preferred), exhibition and awards history, and a brief biography to:
