Ways to Support the Autry

Gifts from members and friends of the Autry National Center of the American West help provide important funding for the Autry's world-class exhibitions and cultural events, dynamic educational programs, expanding permanent collection and conservation efforts.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

You can make a gift in honor or in memory of a special person or on the occasion of a special event (birthday, anniversary, or wedding) through the Autry’s Tribute program.

Gifts of Cash

Cash gifts are the simplest way to maximize the impact of your support for the Autry National Center. Checks, credit card donations, and automatic drafts from a checking account are recognized as cash gifts and are fully tax-deductible. You can send a check to the address below, download a form to send in for an automatic draft, or make an online contribution by using a credit card.

Gifts of Securities

If you have long-term appreciated stocks or bonds that you have held for a year or more, consider giving them directly to the Autry as you may receive tax benefits.

Gifts of Art and Artifacts

In-Kind Gifts

You can support the Autry with gifts of art and artifacts, as well as Gala silent auction items (gift certificates, food and wine), services such as advertising or printing, tangible items such as office furniture and computer equipment, and vehicles.

There are many ways you can contribute to the Autry, leave a vital legacy for our shared future and ensure that your generosity will live beyond your lifetime. The Autry National Center endowment was created to provide a permanent source of operating income for the institution. The principal is held in perpetuity and the income generated from unrestricted endowment gifts is used to support exhibitions, programs and conservation efforts. Restricted endowment gifts establish named funds and positions to support specific areas and needs of the Autry.
