Ways to Support the Autry
Gifts from members and friends of the Autry National Center of the American West help provide important funding for the Autry's world-class exhibitions and cultural events, dynamic educational programs, expanding permanent collection, and conservation efforts.
Your commitment, interest, and involvement are essential to the ongoing success and growth of the Autry National Center. See below to find out how you can support the Autry today!
It’s not too late to join in the Autry’s 25th Anniversary celebration by making a tax-deductible gift to the Autry Annual Fund before the end of the year. Annual gifts are critical in so many ways—your contribution at any level makes a difference! To make your Annual Fund gift, give online or call Marcy Rodriguez at 323.495.4243.
You can make a gift in honor or in memory of a special person or on the occasion of a special event (birthday, anniversary, or wedding) through the Autry’s Tribute program.
Gifts of Cash
Cash gifts are the simplest way to maximize the impact of your support for the Autry National Center. Checks, credit card donations, and automatic drafts from a checking account are recognized as cash gifts and are fully tax deductible. You can send a check to the address below, download a form to send in for an automatic draft, or make an online contribution by using a credit card.
If you have long-term appreciated stocks or bonds that you have held for a year or more, consider giving them directly to the Autry, as you may receive tax benefits.
The Autry's collection continues to grow. Gifts of art and artifacts increase the quality and quantity of the museum's collections. For more information on donating artworks or artifacts, please click here.
You can support the Autry with gifts of art and artifacts, as well as Gala silent auction items (gift certificates, food, and wine), services such as advertising or printing, tangible items such as office furniture and computer equipment, and vehicles.
There are many ways you can contribute to the Autry, leave a vital legacy for our shared future, and ensure that your generosity will live beyond your lifetime. Whether you make a commitment through your will, living trust, retirement plan, life insurance policy, or a charitable remainder trust, your gift will ensure that the Autry continues to develop thought-provoking exhibitions and programs while educating future generations about this dynamic region.
By notifying the Autry of your planned gift, you will become a member of the Autry's Western Heritage Society, which was created to honor and thank our friends who have included the Autry in their giving plans.
Whether it is our world-class traveling exhibitions, K–12 educational services, internationally renowned collections, or engaging cultural programs, there is something for everyone at the Autry. We invite your company to reach diverse new audiences and provide important arts and cultural opportunities to greater Los Angeles through exhibition and program sponsorship.
Friends of the Autry is a support group that organizes events and raises additional funds for the Autry’s many educational programs and exhibitions.
To mail in a check, please make it out to Autry National Center and send it to:
