Celebrate the Day of the Dead with food, craft activities featuring local artists Lalo Garcia and Luis Villanueva, and a custom-built altar that you can help decorate! Plus, you'll have a chance to purchase a copy of The Cisco Kid: American Hero, Hispanic Roots and have it signed by Bold Caballeros y Noble Bandidas co-curator Gary Keller. Free admission.

A stolen horse and a deputy's poor command of the Spanish language lead to a case of mistaken identity, the death of an innocent man, and the destruction of a family in this retelling of an incident that took place in Gonzalez, Texas, in 1901.

Viva Zapata! (1952) Emiliano Zapata (Marlon Brando), a Mexican Indian from Morelos, joins forces with Pancho Villa (Alan Reed) to overthrow the corrupt Mexican government. However, when the new regime is shown to be no less self-serving than the one it replaced, Zapata has a crisis of faith and tries to return to his roots.

And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself (2003) When Mexican Revolutionary Pancho Villa (Antonio Banderas) is unable to fund his war against the government, he enlists the help of Hollywood, sending emissaries to producers in hopes that one will pay to film his battles. D. W. Griffith (Colm Feore) obliges, sending filmmaker Frank Thayer (Eion Bailey), who forms a close relationship with the enigmatic Villa and goes on to produce the first feature-length movie based on his exploits.

Like Water for Chocolate (1993; Spanish with English subtitles) Two young lovers, Tita (Lumi Cavazos) and Pedro (Marco Leonardi), are forbidden to marry by Tita's aging mother, Elena (Regina Torné). As the younger of two sisters, Tita is bound by tradition to care for Elena in her final years, so Elena offers her older daughter to Pedro instead, an offer that he accepts only to be closer to Tita.
