About the Annual Gala
For 25 years, the Autry’s annual Gala has been one of Los Angeles’ most anticipated social events. This black-tie or dressy Western evening includes the presentation of the Spirit of the West™ Award, a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions (the most unique in Southern California), an elegant dinner, entertainment by top performers, and dancing under the stars at the after-party.
Past honorees include Senator Ben Nighthorse-Campbell, Roy Clark, Merle Haggard, Clint Eastwood, Johnny Cash, Kevin Costner, Melissa Gilbert, N. Scott Momaday, Sergio Leone, and many other distinguished individuals and foundations.
Our largest fundraiser, proceeds from the annual Gala fund our education and outreach programs which serve thousands of students, families, teachers, and scholars each year.
